Supplements for summer off-ice traning

The following is a list (including link) of supplements that are recommended to PT athletes/clients while they are training with us. Specifically, over the summer months during their off-ice training phases.


Dymatize Elite Whey Protein - We have been recommending this product since we started training back in 2006. Great product, great taste and moreover it is easy on your pocketbook. The best prices we have found are on the body website. We recommend that this supplement is taken within 30-40 minutes after one of our training sessions. This product comes in three sizes. 2lbs, 5lbs and 10lbs. The link will take you to the 10lbs size.


Dymatize GABA - This product we began recommending to our Elite level clients as it helps with the Muscle recovery abd building process, Follow the directions on the label for best results


All though there are many different products on the market today claiming to be a pre-workout supplement. To this day we still recommend just regular coffee. As it is the caffeine that generates the, "pump" or better known as Caffeine anhydrous. It is easier to get, cheaper and when it comes down to it. It is relatively the same product. We recommend drinking one cup of black coffee 30 minutes before a training session.


It should go without saying - you need to hydrate. We recommend that on training days you consume 1 to 1.5 gallons of water a day.
